In the summer of 2018, Rabbi Avromy & Sternie Super, together with their children, established the first Jewish center on the Caribbean island of S. Lucia to serve the spiritual and physical needs of the local Jewish community, as well as the visitors to the island. Our goal is to strengthen Jewish awareness and pride for the Jewish residents and the thousands of visitors to S. Lucia, regardless of background or affiliation. Click here to read more about us!

What they offer

Chabad of S. Lucia is a Chabad house in Rodney Bay, led by Rabbi Avraham Super.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is after-school programmes.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.

They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital and provides humanitarian aid.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
