Chabad of Puerto Rico reaffirms its dedication to best serve the needs of our community, as well as the Jewish community at large who make Puerto Rico their temporary home while on vacation or business.

At this time, we anticipate that the construction of the new Chabad Center - a center that will include a modern state of the art mikvah - will be well underway, G‑d-willing, by next year. And this is only possible by the warm and wholehearted generosity of so many special people.

What they offer

Chabad Jewish Center of Puerto Rico is a Chabad house in Carolina, led by Rabbi Mendel Zarchi.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. A kosher store is run here. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught. There is a library.

For children there is a mother-and-child group.

They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and provides humanitarian aid.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
