Sukkot | Chabad of Patchogue

  • Join us for the Joyous Holiday of Sukkot!
  • For forty years, as our ancestors traversed the Sinai Desert prior to their entry into the Holy Land, G-d shielded them from the dangers and discomforts of the desert.
  • During the festival of Sukkot, we remember G-d's kindness and reaffirm our trust in His providence by dwelling in a sukkah –
  • a hut of temporary construction.
  • We eat our meals in the sukkah, "take the Four Kinds" – an etrog (citron), a lulav (palm), three hadassim (myrtle branches) and two aravot (willow branches), and recite special blessings.
  • If you'd like to purchase a lulav and etrog,
  • please contact Rabbi Sasonkin at 631-903-0174 .
  • It's still Sukkot! Our sukkah is open for all! Come anytime before dark to make a blessing with the lulav & etrog -- and bring your kosher lunch/dinner to eat in the sukkah!
