Chabad on Campus is dé ontmoetingsplek waar jong volwassenen uit de Joodse gemeenschap in Nederland elkaar ontmoeten, relaties ontstaan en zich vriendschappen voor het leven vormen.

Chabad on Campus op de Zuidas in Amsterdam biedt je een thuis weg van huis, of je nu niet praktiserend, enigszins oplettend of volledig traditioneel Joods bent.

Chabad on Campus bruist van energie! Naast synagogediensten en onze gezellige sjabbat diners krijgen ook de Joodse feestdagen de warme aandacht die ze verdienen. Ook op sociaal cultureel vlak heeft Chabad on Campus veel te bieden. Denk aan bijeenkomsten op het gebied van carrière coaching, Joodse les voor kinderen, of Ivriet les. Jong of iets ouder, ook voor jou zijn er activiteiten die de moeite meer dan waard zijn.

What they offer

Chabad on Campus NL & Amsterdam Zuidas is a Chabad house on campus in Amsterdam, led by Rabbi Yanki Jacobs.

Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club, a bat mitzvah club, a young professionals' circle and a circle for international students.

They officiate at weddings and circumcisions. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, distributes food packages, provides humanitarian aid, works to prevent drug and alcohol abuse, helps people find work and helps people through addiction and recovery.

There is a women's group. There is a men's club. Holiday programs run through the year, hands on. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible. They publish. They produce television and radio programs.
