Jewish outreach organization dedicated to providing the spiritual, emotional, and material needs of Arizonans who live distant from formal Jewish infrastructure.

That’s what Suzanne Miles of Show Low said—after two years of believing she was the only Jewish soul in the entire White Mountains region.

Across the ponderosa pines of Rim Country, the cool lakes of the White Mountains, and the wide expanses of Gila, Navajo, and Apache Counties, Jewish souls are scattered like stars. Some are retirees. Some are ranchers. Some haven’t set foot in a synagogue in fifty years. All of them are family—and Chabad of NE Rural Arizona exists so that not a single one is ever forgotten.

We are Arizona’s first permanent roving Chabad center, dedicated to bringing the warmth and joy of Torah-true Judaism to every Jew in the rural northeast—with active programming in Payson, Pinetop-Lakeside, Show Low, and the towns and homesteads in between.

מה יש כאן

Chabad of NE Rural Arizona — מרכז קהילתי יהודי ב-Phoenix, בהנהלת Rabbi Yaakov Cahnman.

יש במקום בית כנסת. אורחים מתקבלים לסעודות שבת וחג. ארוחות כשרות זמינות במסגרת מנוי. אפשר לסדר לינה לאורחים. פועלת כאן חנות מוצרים כשרים. יש חנות יודאיקה. מכשירים מטבחים עבור הקהילה.

מתקיימים שיעורים באופן קבוע, אפשר לקבוע חברותא, נלמדים קורסים של מכון JLI ומתקיימות הרצאות לציבור. יש ספרייה.

לנוער ולצעירים יש מסגרת לצעירים עובדים.

עורכים כאן חתונות, בריתות ולוויות. מכינים זוגות לנישואין. חברה קדישא משרתת את הקהילה.

המרכז מבקר חולים בבתי חולים, מבקר אסירים יהודים, משרת אנשי צבא, מטפל בקשישים, מחלק חבילות מזון, מספק סיוע הומניטרי, מפעיל בית תמחוי, מפעיל גמ"ח, פועלים למניעת שימוש בסמים ואלכוהול, מסייעים במציאת עבודה, מלווים משפחות מול כתות ומיסיון, מפעילים מועדון לקשישים ומלווים נוסעים בשדה התעופה.

יש חוג נשים. יש מועדון גברים. לאורך השנה מתקיימות תוכניות חג, בעשייה. אפשר לבדוק כאן מזוזות ותפילין. יוצא מכאן טנק מצווה.
