Welcome to The Village Shul - Chabad of Hampstead , a warm and welcoming Jewish community in the heart of Hampstead, London. Led by Rabbi Yisroel and Devorah Leah Weisz, The Village Shul is a registered charity in England and Wales (no. 1124605).
Something special has taken root here: a community, a family, where people experience Judaism because they want to, not have to. Whatever your background, affiliation or level of observance, there are no labels here. Every Jew is welcome, and there is bound to be something just for you.
Our mission is simple: to bring the warmth, wisdom and joy of Judaism in a way that speaks to modern life, and to strengthen Jewish awareness, pride and community through educational, cultural and social activities for every Jew in our area.
Shabbat and festival services: Friday night 6:00pm (6:30pm in summer) and Shabbat morning 10:00am, both followed by kiddush, plus weekday Minchah and a monthly Rosh Chodesh Tefillin Club

What they offer
The Village Shul - Chabad of Hampstead is a Chabad house in London, led by Rabbi Yisroel Weisz.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, after-school programmes and a children's club.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and circumcisions. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
