Friendship Walk
The Friendship Walk is a well-established event in the local Eastern Suburbs community calendar. This highly successful initiative is attended by over 1,000 people and raises over $250,000 per year to support programs for children and young people with disabilities.
Friendship Circle
Sydney Friendship Circle was founded in 2007 by Rabbi Sender Kavka and Chana Kavka with one participant and a vision to build a community where every person feels valued and connected.
Friendship Circle brings together young people with and without disabilities through consistent, shared experiences. What begins as simple connection grows into something deeper. Young people show up each week, building relationships and a sense of responsibility for one another. In that process, they develop confidence, awareness and a genuine understanding of what it means to belong, strengthening the community as a whole.
