The mission of Chabad of Seattle is to reach out to all people, Jew and non-Jew alike, through a variety of programs to enhance their spiritual, ethical and moral lives.
Rabbi and Mrs. Levitin came to Seattle in 1972, sent by the late Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson O.B.M. to establish the network of activities that Chabad-Lubavitch is famous for throughout the world.

Chabad-Lubavitch has been recognized worldwide for its achievements in helping all mankind with love, warmth and joy. The Seattle branch of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement was founded in October of 1972. Regional branches now span the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Provinces of B.C. and Alberta, Canada.

What they offer
Regional Offices of Chabad-Lubavitch of the Pacific Northwest & Seattle is a Chabad house in Seattle, led by Rabbi Sholom Ber Levitin.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. There is a Judaica shop.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a preschool and a Hebrew school.
Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, works with children with special needs and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group.
