What they offer
Chabad @ the University of South Carolina is a Chabad house on campus in Columbia, led by Rabbi Israel Epstein.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
They officiate at funerals. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and serves military personnel.
