Doesn’t it feel good to know that people feel comfortable in your presence? They feel they can be themselves, not judged, but accepted. We experience that feeling every day at Chabad of Monroeville, when Jews of all ages, backgrounds and affiliations feel comfortable and excited to engage and grow in their Jewish life’s journey. It’s this feeling that makes you want to come back again and be a part of the whole experience.

Here's something to FEEL GOOD about... YOUR impact in a glimpse:

• Ever-growing Shul (Synagogue) services, of meaningful prayer, delicious Kiddush and friendly comradery. Celebrating each other’s joys or marking a Yahrtzeit Together, as a community.

• Adult education has seen wonderful growth. Weekly lunch ‘n learn classes, three 6-week JLI courses throughout the year, pre-holiday classes and a major uptick in one-on-one Torah learning.

• Recently launched “Kids clubs”, offering hands-on Judaism with joy and a Hebrew readers club, educating and instilling Jewish pride in the next generation.

• Ongoing Jewish Women’s circle, where we Live, Laugh and Learn (and eat), offering creative Jewish opportunities to come together for holidays, to study or just to hang out.

• Men’s club Sunday morning BLT and group outings, creating a vibrant and enthusiastic group of friends who bond over and celebrate our commonalities.

• Holidays, Holidays, Holidays… Chabad is at the forefront of Holiday celebrations. Offering fun, education and interactive programming for youth, Men, Women, families and the broader community.

• Warm home-made chicken soup, fresh Challah, a prayer book, a hug or a shopping trip… lovingly delivered to patients in hospitals, senior centers or at home, during their time of distress, letting them know “you are not alone”!

• For those who are less fortunate, our holiday assistance fund and “love packages” have played a big part in helping them alleviate some of the stress.

But it is not just about how we feel, it is about ACTION. Here is your opportunity to take action and continue to help our community grow.
