Over 350 shluchim around the world are raising children with special needs, medical conditions, or developmental delays.
- Yaldei’s mission has always been to ensure that these shluchim can be there for their children, families, and communities — without compromise on any.
- “You changed raising a child with special needs from the hardest role to a role that’s completely possible .”Rabbi Chaim Shaul Bruk, Shliach, Bozeman, Montana

Across continents, countries and communities.
They’re on their own – and feel alone .
When a family moves on shlichus, they agree to leave their family, friends, and the security of a frum community — all so they can be there for others.
But sometimes, the personal sacrifice is larger than anyone could have foreseen.
“Yaldei. A moised of unsung heroes who are helping the most vulnerable families on earth, those who spend their life caring for Klal Yisroel while caring for their own special children.”
Rabbi Chaim Kohan, Shliach, Argentina

But what these families do have is Yaldei.
- When Chaya needs ear surgery in Belgium – there’s someone to help arrange the trip and cover the costs.
- When Leibel needs expensive orthopedic shoes – there’s someone to negotiate a better price.
- When Sholom’s parents don’t know why he’s delayed – there’s someone to research specialists.
- When Mommy’s cracking under the pressure – there’s someone to find a therapist and foot the bill.
- When Zalman fears his birthday will go unnoticed – there’s someone who makes sure he’s thrilled.
- When Tatty craves meeting someone who can say, “I get you” – there’s someone arranging a retreat.
- When appointments line up and bills add up – there’s someone to offer some help and reprieve.
- When Rivka dreams of summer camp – there’s someone who notices and makes sure she goes.
Show your support for shluchim.
When shluchim welcome a child with special or medical needs, they’re completely on their own. There are no local organizations who offer supportive services, no guidance on which doctors or specialists to choose, no chinuch options to accommodate these special requirements, no one to fill in when they’re having a hard day juggling it all.
“When our son was diagnosed with autism, Yaldei immediately gave us valuable advice. We knew right away that someone cares and all these years later, we still have someone to call whenever we need something – emotional or financial , big or small. Our life might feel daunting at times, but with Yaldei it’s possible.”

When the days are long and juggling it all feels impossible – there’s a community waiting with love and understanding.
Hands-On Help
“[Yaldei] helped fund specialized schooling, therapy, cognitive coaching, and other things that make a major difference . ”
– Rabbi Levi & Leah Lipskar Shluchim, South Africa

Sibling Support
“ It’s hard to watch the toll it takes on your other kids , but Yaldei sends thoughtful gifts to the siblings – and even reached out to our daughters living in Crown Heights to check on them.”
– Rabbi Ari & Naomi Shishler Shluchim, Strathavon, South Africa
Lifelong Connections
“Thank you for creating a community of other parents to turn to for advice and guidance. Your support is a giant hug in a dark situation and it’s a little flame that pushes away a lot of darkness.”
– Mushky Tuvel Shlucha, New York

Emphasizing Shlichus
“Yaldei has helped us with therapies, summer camp, and when my wife passed away, they helped us find our footing again. Because of Yaldei, I don’t have to worry about anything other than my shlichus and family , which are what’s most important.”
– Rabbi Chaim Kogan Shliach, Argentina
Always there for shluchim. At all times . In all ways.
Shluchim aren’t just shluchim. They’re people who need understanding, emotional support, and friendship. Siblings aren’t part of this scenery in shlichus; they’re dynamic players — children who need to thrive, be seen and celebrated, and never be differentiated from their friends because of circumstances. Together, they are a family on a mission — spreading Yiddishkeit, even when there’s a high personal toll.
When a child with unique needs joins a family, it affects everyone around them, their parents, siblings, and broader community. Yaldei is there for everyone.

Parents
Yaldei is a lifeline for parents – the community and connection, the peace of mind they need, and the support they hang onto.
Children
Yaldei is the resource the children need to thrive. Therapies, medical needs, comfort & support – Yaldei assists with it all.

Siblings
Yaldei celebrates the siblings, making sure they feel seen, heard, and taken care of, meeting their needs in every way.
Communities
Yaldei helps communities to flourish and grow with Shluchim who are ready, able, and energized to do their best and give it their all.
They chose shlichus, and a special soul chose them.
Yaldei will be with them every step of the way, lightening the load, sharing the responsibility.
Lightening the load for those who light the way.
“Yaldei gets what it’s like to be a shliach raising a special child.”
My children feel so thought-of when they receive packages and I count down to the retreats. They give us a network of people who understand the specific challenges of raising a child in a shlichus setting without the typical resources. Yaldei gets what it’s like to be a shliach raising a special child so far from any community or support – without letting your shlichus become second priority.
“It’s been life-changing for our whole family”
The chizzuk and feeling of ‘Chassidim ein mishpacha’ is beyond what I can express in words. Practically, we now have adequate support for our daughter – even though we live in an area where that’s hard to come by. The family unit Yaldei created continues to give so many dedicated shlichus families the care they need.
“There are people out there who notice us, care about us, and want to make things easier”
It’s hard to focus on all our daughter’s needs without feeling like it takes away from our other children or shlichus. And it costs a lot. With Yaldei, we know there are people out there who notice us, care about us, and want to make things easier. We appreciate it so much!
