Welcome to the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, serving the communities of Mountain Lakes, Boonton and Denville.

WHO IS CHABAD? The Chabad Center for Jewish Life was founded in 2009 by Rabbi Levi Dubinsky and Rivky Dubinsky to serve the communities of Mountain Lakes, Denville and Boonton. Our mission is to bring the joy of Judaism to local families. The goal of the Chabad Center is to address the individual needs of every member of our community: physically, emotionally and spiritually through warmth and compassion.

WHAT IS CHABAD: In one word: warm. In another word: welcoming. We are a community that cares deeply about serving, supporting, uplifting and developing a special connection with each individual.

Our Chabad Center serves the Jewish community with a wide variety of activities. Whether it is our acclaimed Hebrew School, weekly Shabbat services, Holiday programming or Adult Education - we are here to offer you the full menu!

Chabad Center for Jewish Life - Mountain Lakes | Boonton | Denville is a Chabad house in Boonton, led by Rabbi Levi Dubinsky.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.

They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
