Chabad of Southern Nevada is a major outpost of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch organization which promotes Jewish education and outreach all across the globe. Established in 1990 in Rabbi Shea & Dina Harlig’s living room, Chabad of Southern Nevada has since emerged as a dynamic force for Jewish life – with nine thriving centers and 20 Rabbis and Rebbetzins spanning the greater Las Vegas Valley.
Our philosophy remains surprisingly simple: Love every Jew, Accept every Jew, Educate every Jew, Reach out to help every Jew…unconditionally. We open our hearts, our center and all our amazing and unique programs to all, regardless of education and background.

The Shul

Day School
Desert Torah Academy was founded to provide an exemplary, well rounded, Judaic and general academic education to children in our area. Our educational policies are inclusive and individualized, and they encourage students to utilize their individual potential, and strive for excellence.
Pre School
Torah Tots was founded to create a warm, healthy and happy environment where small children can grow and develop emotionally, cognitively and physically. Our aim is to nurture and build the foundation of your child's Jewish identity through our interdisciplinary educational approach.

Located right on our property, beautiful, fully furnished suites will guarantee that your Shabbos experience in Las Vegas will remain uplifting and enjoyable.
Kosher Dining & Supermarkets

G‑d is not found due to the capacity of a place, but by His desire to be there. And what He desires most is to be found in the work of our hands, fixing up His world.
