In 2014, Rabbi Avraham and Rebbetzin Chava Kagan established Chabad River North & Fulton Market to serve the fastly growing community of professionals and families in the neighborhood. This enabled them to fulfill their lifelong dream and commitment to helping people grow in all facets of Jewish life, observance and Torah study.

In addition to home-cooked Shabbat meals, they offer innovative programs that include TechTribe and Shofar in the Park.

What they offer
Chabad of River North and Fulton Market is a Chabad house in Chicago, led by Rabbi Avraham Kagan.
There is a synagogue on the premises. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a young professionals' circle.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
