Chabad Intown is located between the Virginia Highlands neighborhood and the Old Fourth Ward/Ponce City Market area of Atlanta. We are about two miles Northeast of the Downtown area, a mile east of Midtown and about four miles south of the Toco Hills neighborhood where a number of restaurants and supermarkets carrying many kosher products can be found. There are also daily minyanim there. We are dedicated to moving Intown Atlanta Jews to an increased relationship with G-d and an increase in Jewish activity in their daily lives. So if you are going to be in town in Atlanta, then we are here to help!
The Chabad Intown Eruv
An eruv is a boundary that permits the area within it to be designated as a private domain, in which Jews are permitted to carry objects on Shabbat. An eruv is established by creating a continuous series of doorways.
The eruv in the Morningside and Virginia Highland neighborhoods generally uses existing structures, such as utility poles and lines, where the poles form the sides of the doorways and the wires form the lintels. This map shows the area enclosed by the eruv.

Chabad Intown is within (2-3 miles) walking distance of many of the major hotels Downtown and Midtown. Please note, these accommodations are not in the Eruv and it is not recommended to walk from the downtown area at night.

Chabad’s Overnight Airbnb Rooms
We have three hospitality rooms inside our facility for Shabbos guests. These rooms can accommodate you, your family, and friends for a convenient and comfortable stay. Each room contains two twin beds and is equipped with lamps that use Shabbos bulbs. In addition, we also provide accommodations such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, a pair of bathroom slippers and towels, and kosher snacks included with each room. We have bathrooms located next door to the hospitality rooms, and we have showers located down the hall too. We have a suggested donation of $118 per room per night. However, if this poses a financial hardship for you, please let us know in the below registration form. We will do our best to meet your financial needs. Please see the below form to submit a reservation request. If reservations are received with enough advance, notice, we can often accommodate for Shabbat meals as well.
