Although The Shul does not host Friday night Shabbat dinners, pre-paid reservations can be made for Shabbat meals
at specific restaurants listed below in the Kosher Restaurants section.
The Shul is pleased to offer a weekly Shabbat day Kiddush following services. Please consider partnering with The Shul to offset the cost of unsponsored Kiddushim. Any contribution toward the Kiddush Bank would be greatly appreciated. Miami is accessed by Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale Airport .
Fort Lauderdale Airport tends to be more economical for flights within the U.S.
Both airports are about 30/40 minutes from The Shul.
LUGGAGE: Due to security precautions, The Shul's Security will not allow luggage of any size to be brought or left on The Shul's premises .
Please be sure to arrange accomodations in advance for your luggage, prior to visiting The Shul. NO exceptions will be made.

PARKING: Public parking is available on the south side of The Shul, as well as across the street, with a pay station nearby accepting all major credit cards.
There is NO overnight parking offered at The Shul.
Surfside: The Eruv in Surfside now includes the inner walking paths along the beach (not the outer walking path, closer to the beach). Pushing strollers and carrying is permitted on the INNER paths, but NOT beyond that path or onto the beach.
Bal Harbour: The Eruv in Bal Harbour includes the inner (western) walking path only. The pier at Haulover Cut is not included.
Bay Harbor Islands: The Eruv in Bay Harbor Islands includes the entire perimeter of both islands in Bay Harbor including the small bridge connecting to Surfside.
Indian Creek Island: The entire island of Indian Creek is EXCLUDED from the Eruv, including the bridge leading up to the island.
We would like to emphasize that every Erev Shabbos, individuals should check the Eruv website to verify that the Eruv is operational prior to carrying on Shabbos. Local Attractions
The Shul is located in Surfside, Florida and serves as a Jewish Community Center for these four neighborhoods in Miami: Surfside, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands and Indian Creek. Above, you can find a Google Map with icons for some useful information for our guests.
Besides the famous shopping of Bal Harbour Shops and the beautiful beaches near The Shul , the greater Miami area has a lot of great spots to visit for a memorable vacation. Please keep in mind that while some places may say that they are kosher, please check their hashgacha. As a general tip, try to take an Uber or cab to most places as parking in Miami, especially in season, can be quite difficult and is highly enforced.

Wynwood, Miami ( wynwoodmiami.com ) - An art district with outdoor art, Miami's tech hub and an award-winning kosher bakery/cafe ( zakthebaker.com ). Perfect for a day trip. Insider tip: Park at/or Uber to Zak The Baker, grab Lunch and walk around.
South Beach - Fun beaches & shopping with easy walking on the famous Ocean Drive & Lincoln Road. Kosher restaurants: Pita Loca Insiders tip: Park on Alton and walk to Lincoln Rd or Ocean Drive as parking by these two can be quite difficult and are highly enforced.
Miami Beach Botanical Garden - Entrance to the park is free. They are open 9am - 5pm every Tuesday through Sunday. mbgarden.org

Brickell - Called "The Manhattan of Latin America", an up and coming young professionals spot with beautiful architecture, walking and its own sense of culture. A beautiful place to spend a few hours walking around.
Palm Beach Island - Known as the "Hamptons of The South" - Beautiful walking & quaint high-end shopping around Worth Ave
Key West - Southern most part of the U.S. and just 90 miles to Cuba - keywest.com
St. Augustine - The Nation's Oldest City. Approx. 4 hours north of Miami. A great spot to visit and worth the trip if you're in South Florida for more than a few weeks.
