Chabad of Brandon & SouthShore serves greater Brandon, Plant city, Sun City Center, Apollo Beach & Wimauma. It is the local center of the worldwide Chabad Lubavitch movement.

At the Chabad of Brandon & ShouthShore our goal is to create a menu of enjoyable and meaningful Jewish experiences, from which people can choose one or more of their liking - no strings attached.

What they offer

Chabad of Brandon & South Shore is a Jewish community centre in Riverview, led by Rabbi Mendel Rubashkin.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.

For children there is after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and distributes food packages.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
