At Chabad, no membership is required to participate, nor are we funded by headquarters. So how is everything funded?
Chabad of Pinellas County is funded 100% by families and generous supporters like you.
It's thanks to your support that we're able to offer incredible programming and welcome every local Jewish family through our doors.
I sincerely hope you'll join the Chai Society donors to become a partner in bringing Judaism to Pinellas County.
Your gift supports Jewish life at every stage — from birth through the senior years. Here's some of what that looks like:
A little more than you were thinking. The Rebbe taught us to always push ourselves, a little bit at a time. At the same time, try to pick an amount you'll be comfortable keeping.
The Chai Society starts at $72 a month, or $864 a year. We have multiple tiers and ways to get involved.
In our effort to be inclusive for families of all income levels, the Chai Society tiers are designed within a wide range. If you're able, please consider participating at a higher level — this allows us to cover our expenses and continue to expand our programs, services and long-term goals.
If this is beyond your means, all donations are welcome at yichabad.com/donate .
Every gift matters. Larger annual gifts unlock additional ways we say thank you. Tiers are based on your total annual giving, so monthly gifts count too — just multiply your monthly amount by 12

Tzedaka is usually translated as “charity,” but that's a mistranslation. Charity means giving because you feel moved to. Tzedakah comes from the Hebrew word for righteousness, because it's more than feeling generous, it's about doing what's right.
Why is giving the right thing to do? Because the money was never really ours to begin with, it was entrusted to us by G-d, so that we could use it to make the world a better place. When we give Tzedakah, we are demonstrating we are trustworthy stewards of his money!
After you have selected your monthly or annual amount, you can pay us by credit card, check, donor advised fund, PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo or Crypto.
