Chabad House in Miami, Florida, led by Rabbi Ari Werbler.

Rabbi Ari Werbler was raised in Marlboro, New Jersey. He studied at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey, and later received his Rabbinical Ordination from the Jewish Educational Leadership Institute in Miami, Florida. In addition to his rabbinic studies, Rabbi Werbler holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. With a deep passion for helping others, he is committed to sharing the warmth and wisdom of Torah Judaism. He brings extensive experience both in teaching groups and offering individualized guidance.

Mrs. Devorah Werbler grew up in Highland Park, Illinois. She studied at Machon L’Yehadus Women’s Yeshiva in Brooklyn, New York, and earned a degree from the Anne Blitstein Teachers Institute in Chicago. Her professional background includes significant work with the special needs community. A dedicated educator and community leader, Devorah has been actively involved in the Parent Teacher Association, where she has led and organized events that strengthened the partnership between families and the school. Above all, she is devoted to creating a home that is both spiritually uplifting and warmly welcoming to all who enter.

Rabbi Ari and Devorah are the proud parents of Dovid, Chana, and Miriam—all of whom are looking forward to their family’s new chapter in Southwest Miami.

Our community is part of the greater Miami metropolitan area in South Florida, located approximately 11 miles (18 km) southwest of downtown Miami. Local estimates indicate there are around 2,400 Jewish households in the area.

What they offer

Chabad of Southwest Miami is a Chabad house in Miami, led by Rabbi Ari Werbler.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged.

For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes and a children's club.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club, a bat mitzvah club and a young professionals' circle.

They officiate at weddings.

The center looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.
