What they offer
Chabad at NSU is a Chabad house on campus in Davie, led by Rabbi Aryeh Schwartz.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
Older children and young adults have a young professionals' circle and a circle for international students.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, distributes food packages, provides psychiatric care, works to prevent drug and alcohol abuse and helps people through addiction and recovery.
