What they offer
Chabad at UConn - The Rohr Jewish Student Center is a Chabad house on campus in Storrs Mansfield, led by Rabbi Shlomo Hecht.
Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
Older children and young adults have a circle for international students.
The center looks after the elderly and counsels families facing cults and missionaries.
There is a women's group. Holiday programs run through the year, hands on. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
