Kosher Food/Restaurants There are two kosher eateries in New Haven (under the supervision of the Vaad Hakashrus of Fairfield), about 25 minutes from Chabad: Ladle & Loaf Ricotta Fin and Scale There is also a grocery/market with dairy/vegan kosher options: Edge of the Woods Shoprite in Milford carries many kosher items. Shoprite in Hamden (about 35 minutes from Chabad) has an extensive line of kosher dairy foods (milk, yogurts, cheeses) as well as Glatt kosher meats. Accommodations The nearest hotels are about 2 miles from Chabad: Hyatt Place Hilton Garden Inn There are often Airbnb's available, and we advise visitors who want to stay within walking distance of the Shul to check out available properties there.
