Hebrew School - Chabad of the Sacramento Region
At Chabad of Sacramento, we want every child to experience Judaism in a way that feels warm, meaningful, and fun. Through our Tanach Club and Mishnah Club, kids explore ancient Jewish texts, timeless values, and the fascinating stories that have shaped our people, all in an engaging, down-to-earth, and enjoyable way.
Along the way, they'll build friendships, connect with their community, ask great questions, and discover what it means to be Jewish, all while having a great time!
Discover the timeless wisdom of the Mishnah the first written record of the Oral Torah and the foundation of the Talmud. Through interactive learning and discussion, children explore Jewish values, ethics, traditions, and the practical teachings that have guided Jewish life for generations.
Journey through the inspiring stories of the Tanach, where our nation's history begins and G-d's covenant with the Jewish people unfolds. Children discover the heroes, challenges, and timeless lessons that continue to shape Jewish identity, values, and what it means to live proudly as a Jew today.
Both clubs take place at Chabad of Sacramento, located at 945 Evelyn Lane, Sacramento, CA 95864, and are led by Rabbi Mendy Cohen
