What they offer
Chabad of Picfair Village is a Jewish community centre in Los Angeles, led by Rabbi Eli Muchnik.
Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught.
For children there is a children's club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. There is a men's club. Holiday programs run through the year, hands on. A mitzvah tank goes out from here.
