ABOUT - CHABAD USC
Welcome to the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center at USC
Located just steps from campus, the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center at USC is a vibrant hub of Jewish life, learning, and community. Led by Rabbi Dov and Runya Wagner, our center offers Jewish students a warm, welcoming, and inclusive “home away from home.” Whether you’re deeply involved in Jewish practice or just beginning to explore your heritage, you’ll find meaningful opportunities to connect, grow, and belong.
Throughout the year, Chabad hosts a wide range of engaging programs—from weekly Shabbat dinners and holiday celebrations to Torah classes, social events, and community service initiatives. Some of our highlights include:
Shabbat Dinners drawing 200–400 students every week for delicious meals and genuine community.
SHABBAT 1000 , our annual signature event, brings together over 1,000 students for one unforgettable night of Jewish unity and celebration.
Weekly Classes on diverse topics in Jewish thought, ethics, mysticism, and practical living—featuring 8 ongoing classes led by dynamic educators.
Student Leadership is at the heart of what we do, with 50+ students taking active roles in organizing events, leading peer initiatives, and shaping Jewish life on campus.
Jewish Travel Experiences that take students beyond the classroom—whether on Birthright Israel , LivingLinks in Poland , Pegisha in NYC , or international JewishU retreats .
Each year, we connect with over 1,600 Jewish students on campus, building a strong, diverse, and enduring Jewish community at USC.
