High Holidays 5787
Begin the year on a "High Note" and celebrate Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur with Chabad. Whether this is your first time celebrating or your one hundred and first, everyone is welcome to join in the festivities — from the youngest members of our family to the oldest.
Whether you're bringing a toddler to their first honey cake, gathering the whole family around the table, or simply looking for a seat and a warm welcome — there's a place for you this holiday season. Reserve your spot for each event below.
The Schedule
All events at Chabad of the Crescenta Valley, 2300 Barton Lane, Montrose, CA 91020, unless noted.
Pre-Rosh Hashana Mommy & Me
A sweet, sensory morning for little ones and their grown-ups — honey, apples, songs, and a first taste of the holiday ahead.
Rosh Hashana Community Dinner
One of the beautiful mitzvos of Rosh Hashana is gathering with family, friends, and community around a festive holiday table. Join us for good food, meaningful tradition, and the joys of "Yiddishkeit", together.
High Holiday Services
Rosh Hashana (Sept 12–13) and Yom Kippur (Sept 20–21) — warm, welcoming, and easy to follow. Free to attend, no ticket required, with bilingual prayer books and a kids' program each day.
Rosh Hashana Family Event
Shofar-blowing, an interactive bee & honey presentation, and a program built for the whole family to celebrate together.
The High Holiday Appeal
Every service, every meal, and every family we welcome this High Holiday season is made possible by our community. Your gift keeps our doors — and our tables — open all year.
