Jewish Community Center in Abu Dhabi | Dubai | Ras Al Khaimah, , led by Rabbi Levi Duchman.

Rabbi Levi Duchman, Rabbi to the UAE and Chabad emissary, arrived in the country in 2014 with the goal of building Jewish infrastructure in the country to help Jews living and visiting it in all areas of life.

In order to support the growth and further prosperity of the local Jewish communities, residents, and visitors across the UAE, Rabbi Levi Duchman, Rabbi to the UAE, has established “Jewish UAE“ in 2014 – an organization dedicated to serving the thousands of Jews living, working, and visiting the United Arab Emirates, continuously promoting Jewish knowledge, awareness and practice.

Jewish UAE is devoted to providing exemplary educational, religious, and social services for all Jews across the region, strengthening Jewish identity and affording every Jew the opportunity to experience the joy and vibrancy of his or her Jewish heritage.

In its efforts to meet the increasing demand for Jewish services and infrastructure in the Emirates, Jewish UAE has established numerous entities and institutions including places of worship, extensive education and welfare programs, community facilities and services, as well as the UAE’s sole Kosher Compliance Certification.

What they offer

Chabad of United Arab Emirates is a Jewish community centre in Abu Dhabi | Dubai | Ras Al Khaimah, led by Rabbi Levi Duchman.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.

For children there is a preschool and after-school programmes.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.

They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages and provides humanitarian aid.
