What they offer

Jewish Community Center of Samara is a Chabad house in Samara, led by Rabbi Shlomo Deutch.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. A kosher store is run here. There is a Judaica shop. There is a mikveh for men.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a children's club.

Older children and young adults have a teen club and bar and bat mitzvah instruction.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center looks after the elderly, distributes food packages, provides humanitarian aid and runs a soup kitchen.

There is a women's group.
