Founded in 2025, Chabad Algarve was established with a simple yet profound mission: to build a warm, vibrant Jewish community and create a welcoming home for every Jew throughout the Algarve.

Whether you have lived here for many years, recently moved to the region, own a holiday home, or are visiting for a short stay, you are always welcome. At Chabad Algarve, every Jew is family.

Our goal is to nurture Jewish life through meaningful relationships, joyful experiences, Torah learning, heartfelt prayer, acts of kindness, and a strong sense of community. We believe that every Jew has a unique place within our people and deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and inspired.

Today, Chabad Algarve offers weekly Shabbat services, holiday celebrations, adult education, children's programming, life-cycle events, community gatherings, and Jewish resources for both residents and visitors, and always a listening ear.
