What is Chabad house? Chabad house is a Jewish community center of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement. These centers provide a variety of services and activities for Jewish people and families, including religious education, social events, and community programs. They also often serve as a place for Jewish travelers searching for a warm and welcoming community, as well as assist with kosher food and other religious needs.
Chabad houses were founded by Shluchim sent by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, and can now be found in almost every city around the world.

What they offer
Chabad Panama is an Israeli centre in Panama City, led by Rabbi Mendi Karniel.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at circumcisions. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
