What they offer

Chabad of Kiryat Hayovel is a Chabad house in Jerusalem, led by Rabbi Yosef Algazi.

There is a synagogue on the premises. There is a Judaica shop. There is a mikveh for men.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a children's club.

Older children and young adults have a bar mitzvah club.

Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages and runs a soup kitchen.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. A mitzvah tank goes out from here.
