The Friendship Circle of South Jerusalem connects children with special needs with loving volunteers, who visit them weekly. We offer a range of programs to support the children, their parents and siblings, and to train and enrich our teenage volunteers. We focus on spreading friendship, love and inclusion. We are currently servicing over 100 families with over 100 volunteers.
We offer a warm, supportive community that enriches all those who participate . As the families receive assistance, the volunteers feel empowered and learn the priceless value of giving.
Weekly home visits, which include hours of friendship and fun, forging bonds that last a lifetime
Holiday parties, which foster a sense of excitement and inclusion in annual festivities
Therapeutic group activities, including music, art, and sports
We provide nurturing events for parents of kids with special needs, where they can refresh and connect with other moms and dads. We treat out our special needs parents to brunch or dinner and bring inspiring speakers and fun activities.
