What they offer

Chabad of the Golan Heights is a Chabad house in Aniam, led by Rabbi Sholom Ber Hertzel.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available. Dishes can be toveled here.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.

For children there is after-school programmes.

They officiate at weddings and circumcisions. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages, provides humanitarian aid, runs a free loan fund and counsels families facing cults and missionaries.

There is a women's group. Holiday programs run through the year, hands on. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. A mitzvah tank goes out from here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
