Welcome to Chabad of Northwest Vermont, your home for Jewish life and learning in South Burlington, Vermont. Established in 2022, our Chabad House is dedicated to serving the needs of the local Jewish community and all those who wish to learn more about Jewish traditions and values. Led by Rabbi Shmuel Grossman and his wife Gittel, along with their two wonderful children, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.

Our mission is simple: to create a vibrant, inclusive community that promotes Jewish growth and education. We strive to inspire every Jewish individual, regardless of background, affiliation, or level of observance, to connect with their heritage and discover the rich traditions of Judaism. Through meaningful experiences and educational opportunities, we aim to strengthen Jewish identity and foster a deep sense of belonging.

At the heart of Chabad of Northwest Vermont is Rabbi Shmuel Grossman, whose warmth and dedication to Jewish learning and practice guide everything we do. Alongside him is Gittel Grossman, whose passion for community building and education ensures that every event and program is impactful and enriching. Together with their children, they bring the spirit of Jewish life into every aspect of our Chabad House.
