Chabad Nürnberg unterstützt, fördert und ermöglicht Jüdisches Leben in Mittelfranken und darüber hinaus seit über 15 Jahren. Ob koscheres Essen, Bar Mizwa und Bat Mizwa Vorbereitungen, Chuppa, Beschneidungen oder weiteren Anliegen, wir sind da um Jüdisches Leben zu stärken und wieder aufzubauen.

What they offer

Chabad of Nürnberg is a synagogue in Nürnberg, led by Rabbi Eliezer Chitrik.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged. There is a library.

For children there is a preschool, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, serves military personnel, looks after the elderly and runs a free loan fund.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
