Rabbi Moshe grew up in Palm Harbor, Florida, where his parents ran the Chabad Centre. After studying in Chicago, New York and Israel he taught Chassidic Philosophy at Yeshivat Lubavitch Detroit while completing his Rabbinic ordination. Following his marriage to Gitty he continued his studies at the Kolel for advanced Rabbinics in Brooklyn before moving to the UK in January of 2017 to establish Chabad of Battersea.
Gitty grew up in Bournemouth, England where her parents run the Chabad Cente there. After completing her studies in London she continued to the Beit Chana's teachers seminary in Tzefat Israel. Her teaching career has brought her to Hanover Germany, Detroit Michigan, Brooklyn New York and the Jewish online School. Being a talented and creative educator she was tapped to create the CKids summer camp curriculum which is used in Jewish Day Camps around the world.
Rabbi Moshe & Gitty are the proud parents of Mendel, Nachman, Berel, Musya, Yehuda and Rochel.
Chabad of Battersea is a branch of the International Chabad Lubavitch Organisation that has over 4000 centers around the world.

What they offer
Chabad of Battersea - on the South Bank is a Jewish community centre in London, led by Rabbi Moshe Adler.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. A kosher store is run here. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a young professionals' circle.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, serves military personnel, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages, provides humanitarian aid and runs a free loan fund.
