Campus Chabad House

Website of Leeds Student Chabad House. LSCH is here to serve the Jewish students at the Leeds Universities in all ways with events and classes for Jews of all affiliations.

Chabad is here for every Jewish student. Everyone is welcome - regardless of affiliation, level of knowledge or observance.

Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment to explore and experience our heritage in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.

Since 2007 we have been running what is now one of the largest Chabad on Campus chapters in the UK.

Together with our children, we provide a Jewish home away from home, Friday night dinners, Shabbat lunches, classes, one on one learning or a listening ear. We are here to enhance the Jewish campus experience.

What they offer

Chabad Lubavitch at Leeds Campus is a Chabad house on campus in Leeds, led by Rabbi Michoel Danow.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. They kosher kitchens for the community. Dishes can be toveled here.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.

They officiate at weddings and circumcisions. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, distributes food packages and provides humanitarian aid.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. A mitzvah tank goes out from here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
