What they offer
Chabad of Centrepointe is a Chabad house in Ottawa, led by Rabbi Chaim Mendelsohn.
Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club and bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, serves military personnel, looks after the elderly, works with children with special needs, distributes food packages and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
