Sonoma Valley Chabad Jewish Center was established in 2024, to serve the Jewish community of Sonoma. Sonoma Valley Jewish Center is a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of affiliation or prior level of knowledge. Its sole purpose is to create a warm, welcoming environment to explore and experience Judaism's warm and relevant spiritual inspirations in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.
Since its inception, Sonoma Valley Chabad Jewish Center, strives to meet the needs of the community with religious services, and social events, as well as an array of programming including: Hebrew school, Campus outreach, Community events, Social services, ect.
Chabad Jewish Center - Sonoma Valley is a local, independent and financially self-supporting entity. Every dollar that we receive comes from the generosity of people like you. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and your donations are fully tax deductible.
Rabbi Mendy & Chaya Wenger moved to Sonoma and founded Sonoma Valley Chabad Jewish Center in 2024.

What they offer
Sonoma Valley Chabad Jewish Center is a Chabad house in Sonoma, led by Rabbi Mendy Wenger.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.
