Chabad serves individuals, families and students looking for an anchor and non-judgmental, accepting, personalized Jewish experience.

What they offer
Chabad of SLO & Cal Poly - The Rohr Center for Jewish Life is a Chabad house in S. Luis Obispo, led by Rabbi Chaim Leib Hilel.
Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
Older children and young adults have a young professionals' circle.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
