The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson is considered to have been the most phenomenal Jewish personality of modern times. The Rebbe valued every Jew and every human for their unique role in the world and as an integral part of the tapestry of G‑d's creation. The Rebbe's goal was to reach out to every person in every corner of the world with love and care. With that in mind, he sent emissaries to establish 1000's of Chabad Houses around the world. With extraordinary insight, he perceived the wealth of potential in each person. The world has been transformed by the Rebbe's message, and been given a new sense of purpose and confidence: "You are Divinely gifted with enormous strength and energy — actualize it!"

Chabad Palo Alto is a Chabad house in Palo Alto, led by Rabbi Zalman Levin.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club, a bat mitzvah club and a young professionals' circle.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, looks after the elderly, works with children with special needs and distributes food packages.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
