Het Chai Center werd opgericht op 5 februari 1998 - 10 Shvat 5778, ten dienste van de Joodse gemeenschap in Wilrijk, Edegem en omgeving.
We bieden synagogediensten op Sjabbat en de Feestdagen, lessen en studiegroepen, kosher eten, crèche, educatieve en sociale activiteiten voor alle leeftijden, en nog veel meer!
Sinds de oprichting heeft het Chai Center een groot succes ervaren in al haar activiteiten en dat is voornamelijk te danken aan jouw deelname en inbreng!
Alle diensten, hoge feestdagen en speciale gelegenheden, gaan door in het Chai Centrum, Edegem. OPGELET : Wilrijk en Edegem vallen buiten de eroev.

What they offer
Chai Center Edegem is a Jewish community centre in Edegem, led by Rabbi Menachem Hertz.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
