Chabad on Carlisle-Jewish Russian Centre is a centre for Russian-speaking Jews in Balaclava, led by Rabbi Yisroel Sufrin.
There is a synagogue on the premises. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school and after-school programmes.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
