Rabbi Lev and Talia Voskoboynik, having not grown up observant, were inspired by the work of Chabad Rabbis and Rebbitzens not only to live a life of meaning and purpose, but to give back to others in the same way. Their passion is working with college students to be there for them and help them connect to the deepest part of themselves - their Jewish soul.
Rabbi Lev, a California native, brings a unique and inspiring background to his role as a campus Rabbi. Raised in a non-religious family, he discovered his connection to Judaism during his teenage years through Chabad's CTeen program in Northridge. This transformative journey led him to become a proud Jew deeply connected to the Rebbe and Chabad.
Passionate about campus outreach, Rabbi Lev, alongside his wife, embarked on a year-long internship at the University of Kansas starting in August 2023. Their time at KU has been marked by significant achievements, from hosting Shabbat meals for nearly 100 students to teaching JewishU and Sinai Scholars courses. Rabbi Lev has honed his skills in fundraising, student engagement, and providing personal support to students facing life's challenges.
Rabbi Lev’s unique background allows him to connect deeply with college students from diverse backgrounds, fostering meaningful relationships and guiding them on their Jewish journeys. His dedication, experience, and genuine passion for connecting with youth make him a remarkable and effective campus Rabbi.
