Rabbi Rothstein was raised in Baltimore, MD, the oldest of eight children. He traveled the world for school, living in Chicago, Montreal, Melbourne, and New York before landing in Tennessee. Shlomo is known for always having a smile on his face, and is guaranteed to make your day better when you are around him.
“I love trail-running. I find pushing myself to the max exhilarating. When I’m trail-running, I feel very free, and in the zone”.
Shlomo enjoys mediation, comedy, and tailgating at Vanderbilt football games. Catch him around the at tailgates!
One of my favorite parts of the day is coming home and goofing off with my six children.

What they offer
Rohr Chabad House at Vanderbilt is a Chabad house on campus in Nashville, led by Rabbi Shlomo Rothstein.
Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged. There is a library.
Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. A mitzvah tank goes out from here.
