Rabbi Leibel and Musie Kesselman, along with their family, relocated to Greenville in 2012, bringing a contagious joy and passion for Judaism and education. They've established a vibrant community known for its warm welcome.
Rabbi Kesselman, raised in Detroit, and Musie, a Southern California girl, bring with them diverse experiences from involvement with Jewish communities in eight countries and seventeen states.
Rabbi Kesselman conducted beginners' services and directed overnight camps. After graduating, Musie spearheaded teaching Hebrew Day School online. From his young teenage years, Rabbi Kesselman spent his holidays and summer vacations traveling around the globe sharing his passion for Jewish life and his love for Judaism with others. He was ordained with honors at Rabbinical College of America and she was hand-chosen as a student-educator at the Ronald Lauder Chabad Campus in Austria. Shanghai, Warsaw, Washington. Riverdale, Rancho Mirage, Vienna. All have been touched by Musie and Rabbi Kesselman. Having contributed to Jewish education and programming globally, Rabbi Leibel and Musie enthusiastically made Greenville their home where they are honored to cultivate a vibrant Jewish identity and community in Greenville, SC.
