Chabad strongly upholds the belief that every Jew, indeed every human being, has a unique role to play in the greater scheme of things and is an integral part of the tapestry of G‑d's creation.
Rabbi Levi Katzman grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Rabbi Levi studied in Brooklyn, France, Germany and Baltimore. Passionate about creating Jewish community, Levi spent time doing outreach work in many places throughout the world and ran camps for many summers in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. He has a keen ability to connect with people of all demographics and backgrounds. Levi is a gifted teacher, experienced administrator and a great coffee date!

- Friday evening at 6:54 pm
- Shabbos (Saturday) morning services begin at 9:30 AM
- Kiddush and light refreshments following services at 11:45 AM
- All mornings of Pesach/passover, Shavuos, Sukkos, Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah, services begin at 9:30 AM.
- Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services begin at 9 AM.

What they offer
Chabad of the South Shore is a Chabad house in Staten Island, led by Rabbi Levi Katzman.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a Hebrew school and after-school programmes.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and circumcisions. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center looks after the elderly.
Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
