Our center is directed by Rabbi Chaim Zvi & Chayala Ehrenreich and their family since its inception.
Chabad of The Nyacks is dedicated to promoting, fostering and encouraging Jewish life in a warm and welcoming environment for all people, regardless of background, level of commitment, affiliation and/or financial means.
Chabad of The Nyacks is “Your Home for Everything Jewish,” offering material, emotional and spiritual support, with unconditional love and complete respect, to anyone who walks through our doors.
Chabad of The Nyacks serves as a center for Jewish life and education in the southern part of Rockland County, including: The Nyacks and River Villages, Chestnut Ridge, Nanuet, Orangetown.

What they offer
Chabad of The Nyacks is a Chabad house in Nyack, led by Rabbi Chaim Zvi Ehrenreich.
There is a synagogue on the premises. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages and runs a free loan fund.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
