Welcome to Chabad of Rockland, your home for Jewish life and learning in New City, NY. Established in 1983 under the dedicated direction of Rabbi Avremel Kotlarsky and his wife, Chany, alongside their twelve wonderful children, Chabad of Rockland has grown into a vibrant hub for the Jewish community. Our center is proud to be part of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, renowned for its unwavering commitment to Jewish outreach and education.

Our mission at Chabad of Rockland is to provide a welcoming environment where every Jew, regardless of background or affiliation, can explore and experience the beauty and richness of Jewish life. We strive to foster a sense of community and belonging, offering a wide range of programs and services to meet the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our members. Mikvas Chaya offers the community a mikvah facility, providing a serene and private environment for the observance of this vital mitzvah. Named in honor of the Rebbe's wife, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson, ob"m, our mikvah serves as a spiritual oasis, enhancing family purity and Jewish continuity.

Our Hebrew Academy, Ohr Menachem-Chabad, led by Rabbi Avremel Kotlarsky, is dedicated to delivering a high-quality Jewish and secular education to children of all backgrounds. With a nurturing approach and a commitment to academic excellence, our school strives to imbue students with a love for learning and a deep sense of Jewish identity.
