Chabad House in Brooklyn, New York, led by Rabbi Avrom Tov Chakoff.
Esther and Rabbi Avrom Chakoff moved to Dumbo in 2005 to open Chabad of Dumbo; a Jewish community center for the growing dumbo community. In 2010 they opened the Dumbo Gan, one of the first childcare centers in Dumbo.
Esther serves as the Educational Director of the school and Rabbi Avrom as the Administrative Director. Together they have built a warm beautiful environment for children to grow and develop.
They are often with their children in Dumbo Park or at Jane's Carousel, be sure to say Hi!

Chabad of Dumbo is a Chabad house in Brooklyn, led by Rabbi Avrom Tov Chakoff.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged. There is a library.
For children there is after-school programmes and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
